Pawan Singh Fraud Case: Bhojpuri cinema superstar and singer Pawan Singh is once again surrounded by controversies. A Varanasi court has ordered to register a fraud case against him and three others. This case is related to the film 'Boss,' released in 2018, in which a local hotelier, Vishal Singh, had invested more than Rs 1.5 crore. Vishal alleges that he was promised profits, but he got nothing.
The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II gave this order on August 13, 2025, when Vishal Singh's complaint was heard. Vishal's lawyer, Ashish Singh, said that his client was introduced to Mumbai film director Prem Shankar Rai in 2017. Prem and his wife, Seema Rai, convinced Vishal to invest in the film 'Boss.' He was promised 50% of the profits and producer's credit. Vishal first invested Rs 32.6 lakh and later Rs 1.25 crore. However, he did not get any profit even after the film was released.
Vishal also alleged that when he asked for his money, Pawan Singh threatened him. Vishal complained to the Cantt police station and the police commissioner, but no action was taken. After this, he approached the court. The court directed the Cantt police station to register an FIR under fraud against Pawan Singh, Prem Shankar Rai, Seema Rai, and another person.
Pawan Singh has not yet made any public statement on this matter. This legal trouble of Pawan Singh, famous as 'Power Star' in the Bhojpuri industry, is surprising for his fans. Earlier also he has been in the news regarding divorce and other controversies. His property is said to be worth Rs 16.75 crore, which includes properties in Mumbai and Lucknow. Fans are now waiting for Pawan Singh's answer in this matter.
